Hunter Region Business Enterprise Centre

Hunter Region Business Enterprise Centre Inc. (HRBEC) is responsible for rolling out the Hunter Digital Enterprise Program.

HRBEC facilitates networking events, small business workshops and opportunities to encourage the growth and support of the business community particularly in the Maitland, Cessnock, Dungog, Singleton, Muswellbrook and Upper Hunter local government areas.  We assist in the areas of the establishment of new small business enterprises and existing small enterprises who are experiencing issues, want to grow, or just want to be better.  Businesses can take advantage of numerous small business workshops and information seminars to assist in the development of their business.

HRBEC contains a business incubator that houses up to 28 units either in office, commercial or light industrial premises. Businesses enjoy economical, easy-leasing arrangements with business mentoring services “on tap”.

HRBEC also holds contracts for Aboriginal Business Advisor and Aboriginal Employment Officer, as well as being part of a consortium that delivers NEIS across the Hunter Valley and Central Coast.  Staff are experienced advisors and mentors, as well as holding Certificate 4 TAE and other qualifications.
